We’ve been coming New Smyrna Beach to enjoy our oceanfront condo for nearly 10 years now. Some friends cannot understand why we keep returning to the same place when there’s a whole world out there to explore. So what’s the attraction for us?

Security: – a feeling of safety in this relaxed and beautiful town.
Proximity to Orlando and the Theme Parks was an initial attraction
The feeling of ‘coming home’ each time we visit (so much so that we’ve started Silver Dolphin Properties now – a Real Estate company offering vacation rentals and sales – so we can spend even more time here)

Who rents our oceanfront properties in New Smyrna Beach?

* Retired and semi-retired couples come down in the spring for a few months – and their families can visit them for shorter breaks
* Escapees from the cold winters come to New Smyrna Beach for a week or so of sun and warmth.
* City dwellers come to the beach
* Local Orlando people seeking out the sea breezes
* Local families bring the children for the summer (leaving one or more members of the family to commute back to work)
* Family get-togethers – where all the cousins can play together and the parents can catch up and relax
* European families who have OD’d on Theme Parks come to enjoy the beaches that are far less crowded than the normal Mediterranean alternative.
